Production and sales are carried out from various locations in North America, South America, Europe and Asia. In Asia we are represented through three joint venture companies: Synthese (Malaysia), Nuplex Raung Resins (Indonesia) and Synthese Thailand. In China we have regional sales offices and a new state-of-the-art plant for coating resins near the city of Suzhou.

Our R&D activities are customer-driven, and therefore organized in dedicated R&D groups for the various markets we serve. Global industry trends, environmental demand and local customer requirements are reflected in our R&D program. Our pro-active partnership is also expressed in our activities tailored to trends such as waterborne, high-solid systems and powder resins.
Exploratory R&D is mainly concentrated at our laboratories in Arnhem (the Netherlands), with high priority given to developing new resin technologies and anticipating trends in the coatings world. In the development of new products we apply an integrated process- and product approach. Product development and technical customer support takes place in state-of-the-art laboratories.
