We are pleased to share with you content of the article ‘Smoother by design, Sag Control Agents based on chiral amines improve surface leveling’, explaining that new and very efficient sag control agents have been developed, based on chiral amines.
The inventions were made at Nuplex Innovation Center in Wageningen – The Netherlands. Most of application work was done at our laboratory in Bergen op Zoom – The Netherlands.
Test results are presented which show that the new SCAs are better able to reduce ‘telegraphing’ of substrate irregularities to the surface of the coating.
The article is published in the European Coatings Journal, edition 12-2007. The paper was presented by Dr.Ir. Fred. G.H. van Wijk at the 9th Nürnberg Congress. Nuremberg, 7-9 May 2007
